In the extra session, a pair of free throws by Bullock gave FMU its first lead since the second period at 66-64.  After a three-pointer by Horne on the ensuing possession, Fulmore made 1-of-2 free throws to again deadlock the score at 67-67 with 3:17 remaining.  The Lady Braves scored eight consecutive points to seal the victory.

FMU led by as many as seven points (15-8) in the first quarter, but UNCP rallied to tie the score at 15-15.  A three-pointer by Adderton with three seconds left gave Francis Marion an 18-15 advantage as the horn sounded.
