    The Peach Belt Conference announced that 1,476 student-athletes have been named to the 27th-annual Presidential Honor Roll, including 98 student-athletes from Francis Marion University.

    Francis Marion University women’s softball coach Stacey Vallee has announced that three transfer pitchers will join the Patriot program this fall: 5-10 right-hander Kate Ellard of Cary, N.C., 5-7 right-hander Amie Hutchison of Fakenham, United Kingdom, and 5-10 right-hander Hannah Shirley of Evansville, Ind.

    Sophomore designated hitter Shania Domingue keyed a 15-hit attack and Francis Marion University scored the final four runs in a 10-64 win over USC Aiken on Saturday (April 14) earning a split of their Peach Belt Conference softball doubleheader. In the game one, USCA catcher Sydney Kate Murphy homered twice and drove in three runs, while Hannah Price (5-10) tossed a four-hitter as the Pacers prevailed 9-3.
