COLUMBUS, OH – Francis Marion University stands in 13th place as darkness halted play during the second round of the 47th-annual Robert Kepler Intercollegiate Men's Golf Tournament, hosted by Ohio State University on Saturday (April 21).
The 54-hole event is being played on the 7,444-yard, par-71 Scarlet Course at the OSU Golf Club.
With opening round tee times pushed back over an hour due to frost, darkness fell before all of the field could complete 36 holes. The second round will be completed on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. followed immediately by round three.
The University of Illinois sits atop the team standings with a two-stroke edge over Michigan State University, although the Illini have yet to finish the second round.
Francis Marion golfers have three or four holes left to complete their second round.
