SPARTANBURG, SC – Junior Callum McGuigan stands at three-under-par and Francis Marion University occupies 10th place as rain interrupted play during the first round of the Wofford College Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday (April 3).
With play suspended for Monday, the tournament has been shortened to 36 holes. First-round play will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday for players to finish the first 18. The staff will then repair the course and change hole locations with the second and final round starting at around noon. The event is being played on the 6,648-yard, par 72 Country Club of Spartanburg course.
Most golfers had between one and four holes left to play when weather intervened.
