The Patriots shot over 50 percent from the floor in both games, including 53.3 percent in a 90-83 upset of conference-leading and 21st-ranked UNC Pembroke.  FMU also forced 23 turnovers in a 74-63 road win at Georgia College.  The Patriots themselves only committed a combined 22 miscues in the two games.

Reigning three-time PBC Player of the Week Detrek Browning continues to lead the FMU men with his 25.1 points per game average, while shooting 52.1 percent from the field.  Junior 6-3 forward Brandon Parker is scoring 13.2 ppg, while junior Ryan Davis adds 10.9 ppg. Senior 6-7 forward Judah Alexander has recorded 8.8 ppg, while hauling down a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game.

FMU is tied with USCA (10-7, 7-6) for fourth-place in the Peach Belt standings, but is only one game out of the third spot.  Junior guard Doniel Dean leads USC Aiken with 18.2 ppg, while 6-2 senior guard Henry Bolton III is averaging 13.8 ppg.

Francis Marion leads the all-time men's series 45-41.

The Patriot women's squad sits at 12-6 overall and 9-4 in the conference (tied for third) and is led by junior Shaunice Fulmore and senior Khai Chandler, both averaging 18.8 ppg. They are followed by sophomore guard Abigail Bullock with 14.1 ppg.

The Pacers (5-14, 2-11) feature sophomore forward Emily Waters with team-high totals of 11.4 ppg and 5.2 rpg, while junior Kyrie' Chandler has contributed 10.6 ppg.

FMU leads the women's series 50-30, including wins in four of the last five meetings.
