The Francis Marion University men's and women's basketball teams continue Peach Belt Conference play on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 12) with a doubleheader at Clayton State University in Morrow, Ga. The women's contest will tip-off at 1:30 p.m., with the men's tilt to follow at 3:30 p.m.

The FMU women (6-3, 3-2) are coming off of back-to-back conference wins over Young Harris College and USC Aiken, and have won four of their last five overall. Clayton State (7-4, 3-2) is riding a three-game winning streak, including a pair of road victories over Augusta University and Young Harris. The Patriots and Lakers enter Saturday tied with Flagler College for third place in the PBC Standings.
Saturday will be the 37th all-time meeting between Francis Marion and Clayton State in women's basketball, with the Lakers holding a 23-13 lead in the series.
On the men's side, Francis Marion (8-2, 4-1) is fresh off of its 99-92 upset of fifth-ranked USC Aiken on Wednesday. The Patriots have won eight of their last nine and enter the weekend tied with Augusta for third place in the conference standings. Clayton State (4-7, 1-4) has lost four of its last five and comes in to Saturday in a tie for 10th in the standings.
The contest will be the 29th all-time meeting between the Patriots and Lakers in men's basketball, with CSU holding a 19-9 advantage.
