Jesse Soles joined the FMU Athletic Department staff in August of 2023 as the Assistant Sports Information Director and Internal Operations Manager.
Prior to FMU, Soles served as the Assistant Sports Information Director for 21 varsity sports at Coker University. While at Coker, she assisted with game day operations/promotions, social media graphics, streaming/broadcasting, and social media management.
A native of Pickens, South Carolina, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Communications with a concentration in graphic design from Southern Wesleyan University in 2022. As an undergraduate, she was named to The Presidential Honor Roll, the Dean’s List, and the Barnes & Noble Spring and Fall Academic All-Conference Teams.
During her time at Southern Wesleyan, Soles competed as a dual-sport athlete, lettering in both Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Lacrosse.
As a student-athlete, she interned for the SID at SWU, creating visuals to promote social media accounts and athletic events on campus. Alongside her internship, she also hosted a podcast with other student-athletes that took a deep dive into the behind-the-scenes life of being a collegiate athlete.
Additionally, she serves as a freelance graphic artist. During the spring of 2023, she worked on several video installments for Player’s Coalition: a charity and advocacy organization founded by NFL athletes working towards social justice and racial equality.
