PERSONAL: Born Meghan Peji in Norfolk, VA.....Attended Tallwood High School, where she played for coach Mike Roberts....Three-time team most valuable player for the Lions....Earned second-team All-Beach District recognition as a senior and junior, and honorable mention honors as a sophomore.....Served as Tallwood’s team captain in 2009 and 2010....Attended the 2010 USA Volleyball High Performance A3 Camp....Participated in the 2010 USA Volleyball Junior National Championships in Reno, Nev.....Was also on the track and field team at Tallwood....Also played for the Beach Elite club squad....Nicknames are Megs, Peji and Peejay.
