Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society in business, inducted 16 students -- including tennis players Mona Blauen and Kerry Hall -- into its chapter at Francis Marion University on April 16.

They join an expanding worldwide network of more than 625,000 outstanding business professionals who have earned recognition through lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. The society's mission is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to foster personal and professional excellence, to advance the values of the society, and to serve its lifelong members. The faculty of the School of Business has sponsored the lifetime memberships for all inductees.

Brian Newman, president of Honda's ATV Plant in Timmonsville, was an honorary inductee.
