FMU's Vallee recognized at NFCA National Convention

Francis Marion University head women's softball coach Stacey Vallee was recognized at the recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association convention in San Diego, Calif.

Vallee was among 120 coaches recognized for reaching various career milestones at the Easton Victory Club Luncheon.

Vallee, who is preparing for her seventh season at FMU, registered her 200th career coaching win last April when the Patriots downed UNC Pembroke 5-3 in the opening round of the 2010 Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

She owns a 204-97 career mark, including five 30-win campaigns and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
