82 FMU student-athletes named to PBC Presidential Honor Roll
The Peach Belt Conference announced that 1,058 student-athletes have been named to the 20th-annual Presidential Honor Roll. The list includes 82 student-athletes from Francis Marion University.

Former Patriot Hunt earns Atlanta contract
Former Francis Marion University defender Willie Hunt has earned a contract from the Atlanta Silverbacks of the North American Soccer League. The Greer, S.C., native played for the Patriots between 2005 and 2008, and earned All-Conference and All-Region honors as a senior.

Former soccer player in Senior Visual Arts Exhibition
Former Francis Marion University defender Jared Beauchamp is participating in the 2011 Spring Senior Visual Arts Exhibition, to open April 5 in the university's Hyman Fine Arts Center gallery. Beauchamp, a native of Marietta, Ga., was a member of the Patriot squad from 2006 to 2009.

The Francis Marion University men's soccer team has scheduled its 2010 Family Weekend for September 2-4. The Patriots will play their first home contests of 2010 on Sept. 2 and on Sept. 4. A picnic
will be held on campus at The Grille on the FMU campus at 7:30 on Friday (Sept. 3) to celebrate the season.
