Former Patriot Golfer earns European Tour card
Francis Marion University graduate and former Patriot golfer Fredrik Ohlsson shot a final-round 6-under-par 66 to finished sixth at the PGA European Tour Qualifying School – Final Stage – and earned his tour card for 2010.

Patriots place 12th at Hummingbird Intercollegiate
Led by a top-10 finish from sophomore Ciaran McKenna, Francis Marion University placed 12th at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate Golf Tournament hosted by Western Carolina at the par-71, 6,767-yard Country Club of Sapphire Valley course.

FMU Golfers tied for 11th at Hummingbird Intercollegiate
Francis Marion University shot a first-round 293 team score and is tied for 11th place, while the Kentucky Wildcats carded a 279 to occupy first place after the opening round of the Hummingbird Intercollegiate Golf Tournament hosted by Western Carolina at the par-71, 6,767-yard Country Club of Sapphire Valley.
