The Francis Marion University baseball team rallied from a 7-2 deficit to upset No. 4 Lander University 10-7 in the first game of a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader in Greenwood S.C. The Bearcats answered with a comeback of their own to win the second game 7-5.

The Francis Marion University men’s and women’s basketball teams are set to close out the 2013-14 regular season on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Peach Belt Conference foe Lander University inside the Smith University Center. The Patriot baseball team is also scheduled for action this weekend when they host Georgia Southwestern State University for a three-game series.
