Visit the new Cormell Field at Sparrow Stadium to open in 2012

Take a tour of Francis Marion University's new Cormell Field at Sparrow Stadium to open in the Spring of 2012.

The field will be part of the $11.1 million West Campus Athletic Complex that will also include a lake, fieldhouse, softball stadium, and soccer stadium.

The baseball facility will consist of 800 seats with berm seating for 1,500 more spectators, concession area, restrooms, VIP room, and pressbox.

The field dimensions will be 330 feet down each line, 375 feet to the power alleys, and 400 feet to center center, with approximately the same foul territory as at the present Cormell Field.  Bullpens will be located down each foul line, and the first phase of the fieldhouse will be constructed adjancent to the bullpen down the right field line.

One main ticket office -- on the east side -- will serve the entire complex.
